OUR QUALITY POLICY
Within scope of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, enforced as ESDAPACK;
- We correctly understand expectations of our customers and execute our processes to fulfil these expectations in the best way possible.
- In all our processes acting under the principle of continuous improvement, we perform required activities for fulfilling customer expectations.
- We follow the current technology for enabling continuous update of hardware and software infrastructure, therefore we prevent wastages those may occur in our processes and respond to expectations more rapidly.
- We follow legal regulations of our country and countries of our customers, we reflect them to our products and processes and assure the quality under international standards.
- We determine, fulfil education needs for further development of our employees in all processes, and sustain our targets for reaching the better all the time.
OUR ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Within scope of the ISO 14001 Environment Management System enforced as ESDAPACK;
- Under the scope of all activities we perform, our duty is to work under trust of customers, suppliers, legal authorities and all related parties with mutual cooperation, with respect to environment, to prevent pollution and minimize environment accidents and take protective and preventive precautions to reach these goals.
- We direct our works to minimize environmental impacts of our activities and to contribute in protection of the environment. We follow national laws and regulations, regulate and enforce areas and productions under our control as required by our compliance liabilities and adapt ourselves to possible changes.
- We try to reduce our wastes those may occur during our activities, and dispose created wastes under supervision of legal authorities.
- In order to minimize environmental risks arising from our activities, we raise awareness of our employees and enforce an environment style integrated with their attendance.
- By acting under the awareness of our role in the Paper Bag sector, we use inputs produced from controlled forest trees, monitor and implement laws and practices regarding environment protection and prevention of deforestation.
OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Within scope of the ISO 45001 Work Health and Safety Management System enforced as ESDAPACK;
- Our priorities in all our activities enabling healthy, safe work, preventing accidents, injuries and health problems, and take protective and preventive precautions to reach this goal.
- In terms of work health and safety, we monitor legal and other conditions, assess the compliance of our company with these regulations, and take precautions to enable its sustainability.
- We define possible risks in our activities performed in all processes, determine our resource requirements to eliminate these risks, perform required actions and inform our stakeholders in this regard.
- In order to enable attendance of our employees into work health and safety activities, we consult them and provide information through safe working applications to be performed.
- We continuously revise our Work Health and Safety Management System and aim continuous improvement, therefore we contribute to the sustainability of the work.
OUR SOCIAL COMPLIANCE POLICY
As ESDAPACK, we see human as an “Asset” beyond a “Resource” at all stages of the production and management, and in accordance with global principles; we hereby guarantee that;
- We will act according to procedures and principles of child and minor worker employment, and not employ workers not completed the 15 years of age and younger than the legal compulsory education age, and enable compliance with legal obligations with all our business partners;
- We will consider the work health and safety as a culture, adopt a proactive approach in all activities, comply with international standards and liabilities given in the national work health and safety regulation, accept a working system that prioritize general health and safety of workers;
- We will employ persons depending on their competences, not their race, color, language, religion, ethnicity, political opinion, marital status, age, pregnancy, sexual preference and gender;
- We will realize remuneration, social support, promotion, dismissal and disciplinary applications of employees in this regard
- We will respect organization freedom and collective bargaining rights of employees;
- We will not employ involuntary, illegal, convicted persons under contract, and act under the volunteered basis for overtime applications;
- We will comply with the environment regulation in force, prevent and reduce the environment pollution on site, reduce CO2 emissions arising from production and services, use energy, water and other natural resources as the result of our works;
- We will determine humanely working hours in accordance with laws and regulations in force, provide overtime working periods under legal periods;
- We will make normal and overtime working payments decided by laws, not employ workers under the minimum wage, provide the social support to employees as defined in employment contracts;
- We will not tolerate any corruption, fraud and bribe.
